Training and Development
BSL offers a bi-annual training and professional development program to support the ongoing development of Better Futures and Home Stretch staff across Victoria.
Click through the tabs below to explore the Better Futures training program offerings:
Online training sessions are available to all Better Futures staff, and cover a range of topics, including:
- Induction
- Coaching
- Community Connectors
- Managers and Team Leaders
- Disability
Each Community of Practice event generates an opportunity for members to focus on current service challenges, identify solutions and refine best practices. BSL leverages the learning from each of these events to develop micro-learning resources.
A suite of eModules is also available to support Better Futures staff in their professional development. The eModules provide information about the Better Futures service and Advantaged Thinking practice.
All modules are self-paced and take around an hour to complete. They are designed to support the Better Futures online and face-to-face training sessions.
For more information, see the Better Futures eModules overview.
